Portions

 All SCD4U meals are:

  • Fresh-frozen and packaged into microwaveable foil containers for your convenience.
  • Available in two sizes: medium (approx. 3 to 6 years) and large (approx. 7 to 11 years).
  • Portioned into one protein and two vegetable elements for medium, and one protein and three vegetable elements for large.
  • Clearly labelled with their contents on the packaging exterior, e.g. ‘Chicken strips, braised cabbage, ratatouille, green beans’.
  • Available in vegetarian alternatives on demand.

Ingredients

All meat products used in the production of SCD4U meals are sourced from Farmer Angus, who provide 100% growth-hormone free, routine antibiotic free, and glyphosate free:
Beef: mince, burgers, sausages, brisket, and steak
Chicken: breasts (cut into strips), wings, and thighs
Pork: mince, burgers, and sausages

SCD4U meals incorporate the following organic vegetables in various combinations:
  • Aubergine
  • Broccoli
  • Cabbage (green and red)
  • Carrot
  • Cauliflower
  • Courgette
  • Green Beans
  • Peppers (red, green, and yellow)
  • Tomato
  • Spinach

Preparation

Serving guidelines:
  • To heat your SCD4U meals, either warm them in their microwaveable containers from frozen, or defrost them ahead of time before reheating in the microwave.
  • When reheating from frozen, SCD4U meals will generally take four to five minutes (depending on the individual microwave) to warm through. Make sure to stir the contents halfway through the cooking time in order to distribute the heat evenly. Note that meals defrosted beforehand will take less time to reheat.
  • When cooking, you can choose to either warm your SCD4U meals in their containers as is (less washing up!) or decant them into your choice of bowl, plate or other container.
Note that all SCD4U meals will be delivered to you fully cooked, so only reheating is required.
